The price includes:

  • 13 nights in the hotels indicated or equivalent and American breakfasts (in the case of a very early departure, breakfast may not be insured);
  • local Spanish-speaking guides for Pacaya, the mirador del Santiaguito and the two walks to Lake Atitlán;
  • transfers and transportation indicated in private vehicle with A / C, with Spanish-speaking driver;
  • local Flores-Guatemala City flights (the D12);

  • Arrival

    Welcome to the international airport. Transfer to Antigua (about 1 hour by car). Night in the colonial city.Hotel: Posada del Hermano Pedro 2 *

  • Colonial city of Antigua

    Visit with an Italian speaking guide (in the morning) of the city of Antigua, a true colonial jewel of Central America, classified by UNESCO as "World Heritage Site" (Capuchinas convent, Merced church, cathedral, etc.). Night in Antigua.The center of the small town is less than a kilometer2, you can easily visit it on foot, therefore, there is no vehicle provided.Hotel: Posada del Hermano Pedro 2 *

  • Pacaya Volcano

    Transfer to the Pacaya Volcano National Park. Walk with a local Spanish speaking guide, approach of the volcano (2500m) and observation of the active volcano. In the afternoon, road to Panajachel, a village located on the shore of Lake Atitlán. Overnight in Panajachel.Hotel: Jardines del Lago 2 *

  • Lake Atitlán: walk from Santa Cruz to San Marcos and villages of San Juan

    744/5000 Motorized boat from Panajachel to Santa Cruz. Walk with a local guide (Hispanophone) from Santa Cruz to San Marcos on the west banks of the lake, on a route that runs through roads that cross several villages allowing you to have magnificent views of the lake and its three volcanoes, Atitlán, Toliman and San Pedro. From San Marcos (or from the village before, depending on your desire), you can take a mototaxi (a "tuctuc") to go to San Juan Atitlán and take a walk in the village. You can discover textile workshops with natural dyes and paints called naive, with a bird's eye view. Walk in the village, dinner with the Mayan family and another night on the shore of Lake Atitlán.Hotel: Particular house 1 *

  • Atitlán lake: Pico Cristalinas and Santiago Atitlán village

    Early in the morning, walk on the Pico Cristalinas, from where you can have beautiful views of the lake and its volcanoes. Then, excursion by motorized boat to Santiago Atitlán. Visit this tzutujil Mayan village, rich in craftsmanship and traditions, where you can meet Maximón, the contemporary Mayan god. Discovery of the church and the center of the village, and of the handicraft market. Return to Panajachel and night in the village.Hotel: Jardines del Lago 2 *

  • Market and city of Chichicastenango

    Transfer (1h15 by car). Visit of the Chichicastenango market, the most colorful and lively in the country. The city is famous for the colors of its market, but also for the religious syncretism that can be observed. You can perhaps observe the missa and walk in the colored cemetery. For the people of "Chichi", the cemetery is a favorable place to communicate with supernatural beings. In the afternoon, I walk west, through the Guatemalan plateau. In the village of Totonicapán, presentation of a textile workshop, dinner (included) and accommodation in a private house.Hotel: Particular house 1 *

  • San Francisco El Alto market and georginas hot springs

    In the morning, visit the market of San Francisco El Alto, the largest Indian market in Central America (also with sales of animals at the top). You can also discover the Mayan altars still active today, in front of the village entrance. Then, move to Georginas sources. On the way, visit the church of San Andrès Xecul, with all its colors. Bath at the thermal baths of the Georginas springs on the side of the Zunil volcano, located in an altitude jungle. Afterwards, transfer to Quetzaltenango and overnight in the city.Hotel: Modelo 2*

  • "Mirador" walk of the Santiaguito

    Early in the morning, (moderate level walk - 3.30 hours walk) pleasant walk with local guide (Hispanophone) to observe the eruptions of the Santiaguito volcano from the west flank of the Santa Maria volcano, at 2900m. Then, move to Guatemala City (about 3:30 by car). If the timing allows, free visit of the archaeological site of Iximché, the ancient capital of the Maya Kaqchiquel and the first capital of the Spanish. Night in the Guatemalan capital.Hotel: Stofella 3 *

  • Archaeological site of Quiriguá and Garifuna village of Lívingston

    Move and visit the archaeological site of Quiriguá, where the highest known stems of the Mayan world are located (4 hours). In the afternoon, motorized boat from Puerto Barrios to Lívingston, a Black country of African and Amerindian slaves. Night in the village in a hotel with a large swimming pool facing the sea.Hotel: Villa Caribe 3 *

  • Livingston Village: Siete Altares and Playa Blanca

    In the morning: boat ride to access the Siete Altari nature reserve (recommended water shoes) and relax on the Playa Blanca beach. In the afternoon, walk in the village or free time in your hotel. Second night in the village in a hotel facing the sea with a large swimming pool.

  • River Río Dulce

    3-hour motorized boat excursion on the calm waters of the Río Dulce to the fort of San Felipe Castle. During this excursion, you can admire the lush vegetation that covers the banks of the "sweet river". During the afternoon, transfer on the road to Flores. Night on the small island in a hotel with swimming pool.Hotel: Casona de la Isla 3 *

  • Archaeological site of Aguateca

    Transfer to Sayaxché then motorized boat on the Río Petexbatún (always "wild") to the archaeological site of Aguateca, in the middle of the jungle: access and visit to this archaeological site present a remarkable "adventure" aspect, but without difficulty. Visit with Italian speaking guide of the site. Lunch pack included to eat at the foot of the pyramid. Return to Sayaxché and after transfer to the Tikal national park and reserve. Night in the "Lodge" to take advantage of the magic of the place ...Hotel: Jaguar Inn 1 *

  • Archaeological site and national park of Tikal

    Visit with an Italian speaking guide of this ancient ceremonial center located in the heart of the tropical forest. Of all the Mayan sites, Tikal is undoubtedly the one that impresses visitors the most. The verticality of its structures emerges from the jungle, the magic of the sounds coming from this fairytale forest make us understand why Tikal continues, still today, to be the main sacred place of the Maya. In the afternoon, transfer to Flores airport (1:30) and flight to Guatemala City (1:00). Night in the capital city.Hotel: Stofella 3 *

  • Return flight

    Transfer to Guatemala City International Airport (20 minutes by road). Depending on the time of flight, possibility to visit the museums of Guatemala City (with a supplement then for private transport or taxi). Return flight. You will arrive the next day in Europe
