A great trek that meets one of the most "historic" 8000m peaks in the Himalayas and combines it with a solidarity experience. Indeed, Annapurna was the first eight thousand to be conquered by man. The French Herzog and Lachenal reached the top on June 3, 1950, thus kicking off the great race for the eight thousand, a race that in just over 10 years led to the ascent of all the mountains higher than eight thousand meters.

This program was born from the desire to make a small but significant contribution to a solidarity project started for some time now by the "Step by step" association, which has determinedly dedicated itself to the cause of a Nepalese school that was hit hard by the 2015 earthquake.

The trekking program is preceded by a visit to the school and for those who wish to participate in solidarity purchases for the school during the first days in Kathmandu.

The participation fee for the trip will be donated to the association to contribute to the budget available for purchases.

Overnight stays take place in comfortable lodges but with degrees of overall comfort that drop slightly as you go upwards. The rooms are generally two-bedded, unheated and a medium-heavy sleeping bag is required for overnight stays. Meals are served and consumed in the lodges that offer a wide choice of local and western dishes.
