An experience in contact with the most powerful nature of the Peruvian Andes, on one of the most fascinating alternative routes that exist to reach Machu Picchu. A wonderful itinerary that takes travelers on a path dotted with glaciers, valleys and lush Amazonian vegetation ...
The treks in the Cusco area are operated by qualified companies that use official guides and specialized personnel. Trekking difficulty is generally linked to the distances covered and the altitude at which they take place. For this reason, we recommend choosing a trek if you have a minimum of experience and preparation for walking in the mountains. Our motto is "Don't start trekking in Peru!".
Taking this precaution can avoid unpleasant situations, such as being unprepared in the middle of walking at 4,000 meters above sea level. It can prevent you from suffering very much and perhaps not being able to fully enjoy not only the service purchased, but also the scenic, rural and archaeological beauties that make up the essence of the trekking itself.
The management and management of groups of trekkers with a heterogeneous preparation can determine "group travel" dynamics, in which not all participants are able to maintain adequate rhythms and reaction times for the commitment. The guides and support staff will always do everything possible to devote more attention to trekkers in difficulty or in any case less prepared. In case of need, do not hesitate to solicit the help of the staff.
Trekking itineraries are generally fixed. Nonetheless, each operator tries to make changes and customizations, so that the comfort and standard option (where present) could present differences of itinerary, while maintaining the general layout, the succession of the stages and progressions.
