- You must be 21 years old to rent a car, 23 years old to rent a car of category 5.0 or higher.
- To drive in Iceland you just need a license issued by any country in the European Economic Area, Canada or the United States. The license from other countries can be used if: a) it has a valid license number, b) it bears the photograph of the holder, c) it is also written in Latin characters and d) it is valid at the time of travel. Otherwise an international driving license is required.
- Note that changes to packages result in additional service fees. It will not be possible to update your Iceland Travel Companion app based on the changes made.
